What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Designer - Revit VDC position at DV Brown & Associates, Inc.?
We are seeking an experienced CAD/VDC Designer to join our growing team. This is an important role to ensure our project schedule and teams are continuously moving forward.
Qualifications:
· Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, as well as Microsoft Office is preferred.
· Ability to regularly travel to project sites and to both offices in Buffalo, NY.
· Ability to multi-task and handle schedules and deadlines.
· Ability to handle complex and technical project details.
· Working knowledge of constructability for mechanical and plumbing systems and installation methods.
Duties:
· Assist in the preparation of HVAC and plumbing design drawings suitable for permit and construction.
· Coordinate and collaborate with team in office, as well as clients
· Attend site visits and document existing system conditions
· Run Clash Detection for model updates.
· Participate in model-based estimating as assigned.
· Modeling in 3D from laser scan data
· Supporting design efforts with timely and accurate completion of contract drawings
· General project coordination and planning for multiple projects.
