What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Science Instructor position at DUXBURY BAY MARITIME SCHOOL INC?
Marine Science Instructors are role models and instructors for youth ages 2-12. Instructors collaborate with other staff and program directors to implement innovative and fun marine science offerings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising lab activities and teaching age-specific marine science lessons
- Overseeing and leading field trips to locations around Duxbury Bay
- Chaperoning occasional field trips to remote locations
- Follow all DBMS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Ideal candidates are interested in Marine Science and have prior teaching experience (can be informal). Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors and on boats. Minimum age 16. Applicants are required to complete First Aid, CPR, AED, and SafeSport certifications before programs start.
Salary : $16 - $22
