Business Development Coordinator – Trial Section
Duvera's client, a large global law firm is seeking a proactive Business Development Coordinator to support the Trial/Litigation Section’s Business Development Managers in driving strategic growth, strengthening client relationships, and elevating the firm’s market presence. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, curious, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and enjoys both research and hands‑on project execution. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting marketing materials, pitches, and RFP responses
- Prepare content for legal ranking submissions (Chambers, Legal 500, Law360, WTR, IAM Patent, IP Stars, etc.)
- Maintain and update attorney bios, accolades, practice/industry content, and marketing collateral
- Conduct market and client research; prepare background reports for BD meetings
- Track matters, pitches, and proposal outcomes in Foundation
·Support development of client alerts, newsletters, and targeted communications
- Manage CRM updates, lists, and reporting
- Participate in planning meetings with attorneys and help evaluate BD opportunities
- Assist with client trainings and CLE programs, including materials and logistics
- Coordinate onsite/offsite events, webinars, seminars, and conferences
- Support budget tracking and attorney onboarding
- Contribute to cross‑functional BD, Marketing, and Communications initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience in a professional services or related environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, staff, clients, and external partners
- Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel and work outside standard hours when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Schedule: M-F 8-5 with occasional OT, Work from home 1 day/week
- Parking: The firm provides $110 parking/transportation allowance each month.
