As our caseload grows, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Liability Paralegal to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law, specifically in handling medical records, chronologies, and summaries. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and the experience to support attorneys in all stages of pre-litigation and litigation.
Responsibilities:
Review, request, and organize medical records
Draft clear and concise medical chronologies and summaries
Identify key injuries, treatments, and gaps in care
Communicate with providers, clients, and insurance companies
Assist with demand packages and trial preparation
Draft discovery documents
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
Support attorneys with case development and strategy
Skills:
Liability litigation experience (car accidents, slip and falls, personal injury, property, etc.); preferably experience with medical chronologies
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and treatment timelines
Proven experience drafting detailed medical chronologies and summaries
Proven experience drafting discovery documents
Excellent writing, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with litigation support
Experience using A.I. for litigation support
Familiarity with Clio is a plus
