About Us
Dutch Vet is transforming veterinary care by making expert treatment accessible anytime, anywhere. Our mission is simple: help every pet live their happiest, healthiest life by connecting pet parents with licensed vets through seamless virtual visits.

We're the only veterinary telemedicine service that can diagnose, prescribe, and ship medications directly to customers in most states. For less than $100 per year, Dutch offers real relief and convenience for pets and their families.

As one customer put it: "Dutch was the only site that would diagnose and prescribe meds as well as ship the meds."

Here's what other customers have said about Dutch Vet:

"The easiest vet visit you'll ever have."

"More thorough than my in-person vet."

"No nonsense, quick, easy and friendly veterinarian. Much cheaper than our regular local vet that couldn't get us in. So glad I found Dutch!"

Backed by world-class investors including Forerunner Ventures, Eclipse Ventures, and Bling Capital, our team is made-up of successful startup founders (Hims, PlushCare, Nasty Gal) with expertise in scaling enterprises (TripAdvisor, Walmart, BARK). Featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, Wired, and Axios, Dutch is setting the standard for quality, accessibility, and compassion in pet care.

THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager focused on retention and LTV, responsible for keeping members engaged, driving repeat visits and refills, and maximizing the value of every membership. This role is ideal for someone with 5 years of lifecycle experience, including 3 years hands-on in Iterable, who thinks in cohorts and retention curves and can own strategy and execution end to end. ITERABLE experience is a must-have requirement for this role.

You'll work closely with the LCM Director to build and optimize the member journey from first visit through renewal, with clear ownership of churn reduction, engagement, and expansion revenue. This is a fully remote role, but you must be located in the US to be considered.

If this sounds interesting to you, we'd love to hear from you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own the retention and LTV lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, and push in Iterable

  • Build and manage key member moments including:

    • Onboarding and first-visit activation sequences

    • Prescription refill and medication adherence reminders

    • Renewal and pre-renewal engagement programs

    • Win-back and churn-prevention flows

    • Cross-sell and expansion campaigns (additional pets, supplements, program upgrades)

  • Define and monitor cohort-level retention metrics: renewal rate, churn, visit frequency, refill rate, LTV

  • Partner with data and engineering to build the segmentation and triggers needed for behavior-based messaging

  • Develop a testing roadmap for offers, timing, cadence, and content that measurably improves retention

  • Partner with CX and clinical teams to ensure member messaging reinforces the vet relationship and drives real health outcomes

  • QA campaigns thoroughly (logic, personalization, rendering, links, timing)

  • Mentor and set best practices as the lifecycle team scales

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • 5 years of lifecycle or CRM marketing experience with a focus on retention, engagement, or LTV

  • 3 years of hands-on Iterable (Klaviyo, Braze, or similar) experience required (journeys, triggers, segmentation, A/B testing)

  • Strong command of retention analytics: cohort analysis, churn modeling, LTV measurement

  • Experience owning renewal or subscription retention metrics with direct accountability for results

  • Comfort partnering with data teams on segmentation, event tracking, and reporting

  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong QA instincts

  • Clear, persuasive writing style that balances helpfulness with Dutch's warm, trustworthy voice

  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-moving environment

  • A bias toward action: ship, learn, iterate

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in subscription, DTC, or consumer health/wellness

  • Familiarity with predictive churn models or propensity scoring

  • HTML knowledge for email troubleshooting

  • Experience with medication adherence, healthcare, or compliance-sensitive messaging

WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING:
  • You'll own the programs that determine whether members stay, renew, and grow with Dutch

  • Retention is the highest-leverage number in a subscription business, and this role has direct accountability for it

  • You'll shape how Dutch deepens trust with members over the full life of their pet
