What You’ll Accomplish
Responsible for ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently, reducing downtime, and maintaining a high standard of appearance and functionality for the property.
- This is not a desk job; it involves inspecting sites and potentially leading hands-on repairs
- May require being on-call to respond to emergency situations outside of regular business hours
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for coaching teams and communicating with managers, team members, and vendors
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive maintenance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Technical Knowledge: Broad understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
- Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for coaching teams and communicating with managers, tenants, and vendors
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex issues and make quick, independent decisions during emergencies
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance software (CMMS), such as MaintainX
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, CMRP) highly preferred
