Description
Do Great Things! Durham Technical Community College is hiring a Program Coordinator/Assistant in the Allied Health Department. The Program Coordinator/Assistant of Allied Health is primarily responsible for assisting the director with product demonstrations and the appropriateness of programs.

Examples of Duties
- Assist students in completing registration, class transfers, or class refund forms.
- Assist director with coordinator of Allied Health programs.
- Answer all email inquiries and disseminate multi-line calls and inquiries pertaining to Continuing Education Allied Health classes and programs.
- Assists with NHA Exams, Flyers, and scheduling for several Allied Health Programs.
- Open and distribute incoming, except for confidential mail. Prepare outgoing mail.
- Coordinate scheduling and obtaining required signatures of waiver exams for EKG, and ICVT.
- Maintain objectivity and confidentiality in handling departmental and institutional information.
- Assists with the coordination of the Orientation Sessions.
- Coordinate Information Sessions held monthly.
- Serve as point person for organizing all large meetings (Advisory Board) and mailings, including taking and distributing meeting minutes.
- Assist Director with daily clerical duties as needed, including updating forms and handbooks, printing and distributing class completion certificates.
- Handel all print shop requests.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree in business or healthcare.
Work ExperienceAt least 6 months of working experience in a business or healthcare setting.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive interpersonal relations throughout the college and the community;
- Excellent computer skills as evidenced by experience with at least one data analysis/business intelligence software product and competence with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point and;
- Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills;
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Ability to think creatively and put ideas into action;
