What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Assistant Volleyball Coach position at Durham Academy?
Durham Academy is accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach. The season runs from approximately early-August through Mid-October.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists the instruction of our varsity volleyball team to include
Coordinating tryouts and team selection
Practice planning and execution
Game strategy
Video review and stat keeping / organizing
Explaining rules and regulations
Assists with supervising student-athletes
Responsible for driving a mini-bus to all road games
Regular communication and teamwork with the other volleyball coaches in the program as well as Varsity program head coach and AD
Candidates should expect a regular weekday commitment at practices that typically run from 330-530 pm along with two-three games per week with most road games not being more than 45 minutes away from Durham Academy.

Maintain positive and professional working relationships with all members of the school community to include student-athletes, parents, teachers, fellow coaches and administration.
