High school diploma or equivalent

We have an opening for a 3rd shift Screening Operator!
The Screening Operator will set-up, run and inspect printed parts and adjust printing press to maintain quality and quantity of production. Maintains productions records and will clean printing area and production equipment regularly.
- Sets up and obtains pre-print approval.
- Operates printing press, inspects product regularly during press run, making mechanical and/or ink adjustments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Performs random checks on printed parts against template ensuring proper registration and resolves registration problems.
- Notifies team leader of recurring equipment malfunction and/or poor quality of raw materials.
- Records and maintains accurate printed product and reject counts, ensuring output matches work order requirements.
- Maintains press area cleanliness and properly cleans up equipment used during printing operations.
- Works with setup assistants and on-line inspectors to communicate any pre-press needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with machinery or equipment required
- Experience operating printing presses or other manufacturing equipment preferred.
