Overview
We're looking for a Tasting Room Kitchen Lead to join our dynamic team. This job is for you if you have some food prep experience, are organized and hardworking, and feel comfortable leading a small team.
Duties
- Execute the daily operations of tasting room kitchen including: prep, assembly and plating, dish washing, glass polishing.
- Supervise a small team of kitchen helpers (1-2 people)
- Be the liaison between winery chefs and tasting room kitchen helpers.
- Assist chefs with food events on site (dinners, brunches, etc.)
- Stock, organize and ensure kitchen has needed supplies
- Organize and stock food retail products (olive oil, vinegars, salts, etc)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, and managing kitchen operations in a fast paced environment.
- Leadership skills and a good team player.
- Great attention to detail and quality.
- Self starter - ability to find work and keep busy.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures, food safety standards, and food industry best practices.
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
