Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified individual as a full time maintenance technician, for a multifamily property. Must be able to assist in all aspects of apartment turnover and make ready transitions. This Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Rate of pay depends on experience. Own transportation necessary.
- Assist the property manager, maintenance supervisor, and the rest of the property staff in the successful maintenance operations and general upkeep of the property.
- All aspects of apartment turnover and make ready maintenance responsibilities.
- Perform general property repairs and maintenance, including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC knowledge helpful, basic carpentry, and grounds upkeep.
- Timely completion of assigned resident and management maintenance requests and work orders.
- Must be able to receive and answer work order requests digitally and provide excellent customer service and represent property in a professional manner.
- Complete all required employee training and follow company policies and procedures.
- Be experienced in construction remodel, painting, flooring, plumbing drywall and trouble shooting electrical and operating systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs and updates.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing all maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in apartment maintenance or related field.
- Strong construction knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, painting and building systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
