Durango Fitness Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Gym Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dynamic fitness facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily facility operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and staff
- Supervise and support front desk, cleaning, and maintenance teams
- Schedule staff, track attendance, and assist with onboarding and training
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Handle member concerns and ensure high-quality customer service
- Oversee facility maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and operational improvements
- Collaborate with the owners to ensure alignment with club goals
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in fitness or facility management preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with scheduling software and basic office systems
- CPR/AED certification a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends if needed
