Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring smooth operations in our bakery. Duties
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the bakery, providing a friendly and welcoming experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations while handling food items.
- Assist in preparing food items as needed, working closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
- Provide support to team members during busy periods, ensuring all customers receive prompt assistance.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items, specials, and sales initiatives.
- Must be able to work under pressure!!
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
