Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly at the front desk, providing friendly and efficient service.
- Manage customer inquiries, take orders, and handle transactions accurately
- Prepare bagels following established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing and assembling.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols.
- Support high-volume production needs during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Keep inventory organized by monitoring supplies like packaging materials, ingredients, and utensils.
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or baking is highly preferred; familiarity with pastry preparation is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knife skills and experience with cake decorating or pastry arts are desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry that showcase excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for ingredient measurements and portioning accurately.
- Previous work in high-volume production settings is advantageous for managing busy periods efficiently.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.32 per hour
