POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the University Chancellor, this is a complex andresponsible executive support position requiring initiative, independent judgmentand problem-solving skills, and flexibility. Work is done with considerable independence within established policiesand guidelines and reviewed through reports, conferences, and observation ofresults.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managesexecutive calendar, schedules appointments, including by Zoom, and coordinatesmeetings to optimize time and priorities.
Answers phonecalls, takes messages, and prepares and sends correspondence withprofessionalism and discretion.
Monitors theChancellor's email on a constant basis for follow up and directs messages asappropriate.
Arranges fortravel, including flights, accommodations, itineraries, and related logistics.
Makes foodservice orders and parking arrangements for visitors and meetings.
Types andedits documents, correspondence, and presentations with accuracy and attentionto detail.
Handlesbudget matters, receipts for reimbursement, etc.
Conductsbackground research, compiles reference materials, assists with interviews andtranscripts, and organizes information relevant to writing projects and bookdevelopment.
Assists inediting book project and other writing projects.
Manages andmonitors the status of university projects and initiatives overseen by theChancellor.
Works withthe President's Office and other offices within university leadership as theyinteract with Chancellor's Office.
Performsrelated duties as assigned to ensure smooth office operations.
Completes otherduties as assigned.
