Job Responsibilities:
This role is committed to educating and providing guidance to employees on Consumer Lending related areas to include Home Equity processing, managing title records, and Quality Control on consumer loans. This position ensures that loans are documented according to current Credit Union policies and procedures and requires a thorough working knowledge of Mortgage regulations including state and federal regulations. This position is responsible for providing expertise in the area of real estate lending focusing on processing and document preparation on all Home Equity requests. This position is also responsible for communicating with CUNA Mutual, DMV, auto dealers, and providing courteous and prompt support to DCCU staff. The position also facilitates claims and other administrative functions related to Debt Protection and GAP.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in all Consumer Loan products are preferred. A high degree for attention to detail as well as demonstrated excellent communication skills are critical for success in this role. This individual will have basic mathematics skills and the ability to work with confidential files, This individual will possess the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and work as part of a team to promote an efficient and effective work flow. They will also have demonstrated excellent communication skills and a strong passion for exceptional service.
