As a Consumer Lending Loan Specialist,you’ll play a key role in helping members achieve their goals through personalized lending solutions and financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Loan Growth & Engagement – Proactively connect with members through inbound inquiries, referrals, and outbound outreach to deliver personalized lending solutions that meet financial needs and support organizational goals.
Onboard & Educate Members – Lead welcome calls, promote digital tools, and provide financial guidance to build trust and strengthen long-term relationships.
Manage Lending Processes – Accurately process loan applications, verify documentation, and support timely underwriting, funding, and closings while ensuring compliance.
Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with Loan Officers, branch staff, and cross-functional teams to manage pipelines, improve workflows, and deliver seamless member experiences.
Achieve Results & Continuous Improvement – Consistently meet sales and service goals, contribute to team performance, and share insights to support ongoing growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Experience in consumer lending, financial services, or a sales-driven member service role, ideally within a credit union or similar institution.
Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to meet or exceed loan growth and cross-sell goals through consultative sales and proactive outreach.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a member-focused approach.
