Job Summary
The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated geographic region by developing and executing strategies to sell edge data center services, including colocation, connectivity, and managed solutions. This role requires a results-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the data center or technology sector, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to meet revenue targets. The Regional Sales Representative will work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver tailored edge computing solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence for edge data center services.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with enterprise clients, carriers, and partners within the assigned region, focusing on industries leveraging edge computing, IoT, and 5G.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and positioning our edge data center solutions to meet those needs.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent progress toward sales goals.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for regional clients, ensuring high satisfaction, timely service delivery, and adherence to SLAs.
- Market Analysis: Monitor regional market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer demands to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the edge computing industry.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and operational capabilities.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure profitable deals that align with company objectives.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and regional activities to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our edge data center solutions and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the data center, cloud computing, or telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or territory-based role.
- Experience with edge computing, IoT, or 5G solutions is highly desirable.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of data center services, connectivity solutions, and emerging technologies like edge computing and 5G.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales forecasting.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
