Shipping
Job Summary:
Job Description: Seeking a dedicated individual to join our Shipping and Receiving department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, including climbing onto trailers as needed.
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools such as grinders, saws, and impact wrenches as required.
- Follow instructions to ensure proper shipping and receiving procedures.
- Maintain a neat and organized work environment.
- Lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Work on ladders and in elevated spaces safely.
- Ensure proper documentation of shipments and inventory.
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
