Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other menu items while ensuring excellent customer service. Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and related menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain safety standards
- Assist customers with their orders, upselling additional items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Manage cash handling accurately during transactions
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation protocols at all times
- Support team members with additional tasks such as serving or cashiering as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service, or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing orders accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in the food industry, café, grocery store, or retail setting is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
