Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders and retail purchases in a lively, welcoming manner
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
• Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Manage customer orders using food handling techniques and ensure timely delivery of orders to maintain high service standards
• Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas regularly
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, give accurate change, and balance cash drawers at shift end
• Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation tasks within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or restaurant service environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods
• Excellent sales skills with a focus on upselling to maximize revenue opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
• Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
• Experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Ability to maintain a clean workspace while managing multiple responsibilities seamlessly
