What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Data Analyst position at Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions?
Financial Analyst analyzes past and present financial data of organization and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance.
- Provides financial and disbursement issue research support for end users and Debt Collection Management personnel.
- Attends and/or facilitates meetings and working groups with stakeholders to support review and reconciliation of financial and disbursement related issues.
- Creating, organizing, and managing financial and disbursement documentation for reference and tracking.
- In coordination with Tier 1 support and management, tracks and addresses production issues relating to financial and disbursement processing related functions within client system.
- Provides functional validation and regression testing for all financial processing related issues raised on an ad hoc basis, PROD Support, meetings and/or working groups.
- Run and document financial analysis projects.
- Aid organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control.
- Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
- Assists program teams with financial reporting requirements to corporate.
- Reviews program-related AP/AR invoices for accuracy.
- Prepares presentation slide decks for program financial performance reporting.
- Completes various special projects as assigned by finance leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- US Citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field required
