Case Specialist 1
Hybrid in Washington, DC

Works on programs/projects in support of varying government contracts. Performs a variety of administrative and program/project functions. Responsible for tracking contract deliverables and the overall program/project schedule. This may include project tasks, configuration actions, and risks. Typically works on multiple smaller scale projects.
Job Description
- Performs data entry; transcribes, and verifies data entered.
- Generates required letters and documents.
- Confirms timely processing of all new claims from receipt through the screening process.
- Performs Quality Control throughout the entire process.
- Scans hardcopy correspondence and forms, entering scanned images into system.
- Processes electronically received correspondence.
- Loads data into system(s) as required; maintains files, records, and chronologies of entry activities and reports accordingly.
- Organizes and expedites the handling of incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
- Confirms that up-to-date and accurate records of inquiries are maintained and reported.
- Assists in the training of new employees and helping coordinate the continuous training sessions hosted at the NCIF.
- Manages all mail room functions to include the generation, printing, and inserting of all centrally generated documents for mailing each day.
- Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
- Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
- Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
- Maintains call center database by entering information and document customer interaction.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and knowledge management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or one (1) year of experience working in a similar environment is required
- U.S Citizenship
- Hybrid- onsite required Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays

- Beginner proficiency with Claims Administration, Mail and Parcel Sortation, and Quality Management.
