PAYROLL/ ACCOUNTING CLERK

Duncan Ford Mazda is looking for a fun, thriving individual to join our Automotive Professional team. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, well organized team player to join our accounting office.

The Payroll/Accounting Clerk must be able to:

• Accurately calculate and process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations
• Monitor and process benefits for eligible employees
• Maintain accurate employee records for current and termed employees, including onboarding new employees.
• Assist Office manager with basic HR duties
• Assist employees with payroll questions, changes, etc in a timely and confidential manner.
• Process garnishment and deduction payments
• Process new car invoices and stock in new vehicles
• Basic Office duties as assigned
  
  
  

Experience:

• Payroll Experience (Preferred)
• Administrative / Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  
  
  

All candidates must be willing to submit a driving/background check. We are also a drug-free environment. All candidates will be drug tested.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: We are located at: 125 Jennelle Rd, Christiansburg VA 24073

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional overtime
