Job Description:We are seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a government facility. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling assigned areas, and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies.

This position requires strong observation skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to interact respectfully with employees, visitors, and the public.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hourHours: 32 hours per week

Schedule:

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Monday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help prevent and detect signs of security concerns
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and authorizing entry
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Prepare accurate and detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
• Enforce site rules, regulations, and security procedures
• Work cooperatively with site personnel, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to work weekends and evening shifts as scheduled
• Must pass all required background screening and any site-specific hiring requirements

Work Environment:This position is assigned to a government facility and requires strict professionalism, reliability, and adherence to post orders and site procedures.
