Dunbar Road Design is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to support the seamless execution of our interior design projects. This role is suited to someone who thrives behind the scenes and takes pride in ensuring every detail is handled with accuracy, efficiency, and discretion.
Working closely with the design team, vendors, logistics partners, as well as our Finance Director, the Procurement Manager will oversee all purchasing and coordination across multiple projects.
Acting as the central point of coordination for all procurement activities, this role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously. Attention to detail and consistent follow-through are essential to maintaining the level of quality our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Coordination
Issue client-ready proposals prepared by the design team, ensuring clear and professional communication, with designers copied on all correspondence
Procurement & Order Management
Oversee all procurement following client approval, including placing orders for furniture, lighting, materials, and bespoke pieces
Confirm vendor acknowledgements, pricing, and lead times in alignment with approved proposals
Track proposals, purchase orders, and invoices within Studio Designer
Logistics & Delivery
Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, freight partners, and installers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Monitor all shipments from order placement through installation, proactively managing timelines
Issue Resolution
Resolve delays, damages, and discrepancies with efficiency and sound judgment
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate purchasing records, expediting schedules, and procurement documentation
Provide clear, timely updates to the design team and, when appropriate, to clients
Financial Tracking & Reconciliation
Record and track all client payments and vendor invoices within Studio Designer
Ensure all payments are accurately applied to corresponding proposals and purchase orders
Reconcile procurement-related financials in coordination with the Finance team
Maintain alignment between orders placed, funds received, and vendor payments issued
Installation Support
Support installation coordination by ensuring all procurement-related items are delivered and accounted for
Job Requirements
- 1 years of procurement experience within interior design or a related luxury residential field
- Proficiency in Studio Designer required
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-driven, proactive, and highly reliable
- Please note this position is based in our Dallas studio and is not remote.
