We are seeking a Shop Helper to join our team in the United States. This role is vital in supporting our carpentry and decorating projects by assisting with various tasks in our workshop. The Shop Helper will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and decorators with preparing materials and tools for projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and materials
- Help with loading and unloading materials using forklifts when necessary
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in setting up workstations for different projects
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools and power tools
- Forklift operation certification or experience
- Ability to work safely in a construction or workshop environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required
- Motivated, trustworthy, and committed to safety standards.
