We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow
- Provide menus and explain menu items to guests
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the menu and restaurant services
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions
- Uphold high standards of guest relations to enhance the overall dining experience
Experience
- Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including POS systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle guest relations effectively, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Experience in hotel guest services or serving roles is advantageous
