Under the direct supervision of a collaborative physician, physician site leader, and practice manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides medical care to patients within a detailed scope of practice. The scope of practice identifies the range of clinical modalities and protocols agreed upon between the NP/PA and collaborative physician. Within the ambulatory care setting, under the collaborative physician and scope of practice, the NP/PA completes physicals; orders diagnostic and therapeutic modalities: e.g., laboratory, x-ray, EKG, etc.; performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management; prescribes medications; instructs and educates patients and their families in proper healthcare, appropriate illness prevention, and home care; and documents in the patient chart progress notes, orders, etc. These aforementioned responsibilities are performed under the scope of practice to optimize clinical outcomes. The NP/PA must be credentialed as a mid-level provider by same Hospital(s) in which the collaborative physician has admitting privileges.

- The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, this position may also be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation bonus equaling a total target cash compensation that may be between $110,000 - $150,000.

- Graduation from an approved school for Nurse Practitioners OR Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
- Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Missouri
- Previous Experience (1 years as practicing APP) in primary care or similar setting is preferred
