Housekeeping – Long-Term Care

Wage: $19.00–$24.13 per hour
Schedule: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
Hours: 64 hours per pay period

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Housekeeping team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the overall well-being of our residents by ensuring resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces are clean, sanitary, and welcoming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, and trash removal.
• Follow established infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Properly use and care for housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Respond to spills and other cleaning needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping area.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Work respectfully and professionally around residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Support a positive, homelike environment for our residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Experience working in a long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus.

Candidates should be able to work independently while also being a team player, follow directions, and interact respectfully with elderly residents and individuals with varying needs.
