Our busy and upbeat dental practice is seeking a friendly and reliable receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a dental or medical office, excellent communication skills, and a positive & friendly attitude. As the first point of contact for our patients, the receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, and our patients are taken care of..
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and visitors and directing them to the appropriate areas
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Assisting Dentist with providing excellent treatment to our patients
- Prepping and sanitizing dental operatories
- Verifying patient information and insurance coverage
- Collecting payments and issuing receipts
- Maintaining patient records and filing documents
- Assisting with office tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a dental office as an assistant
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office and Dentrix Ascend
- Attention to detail and accuracy
