Financial Broadcast - Manager

We’re looking for a talented financial media relations or broadcast news professional to help secure high-profile television, radio, and podcast opportunities for our growing roster of clients across asset and wealth management, capital markets, banking, and fintech.

Our broadcast team is led by professionals with deep experience in guest booking, production, and newsroom roles at top-tier financial networks, giving clients an insider’s understanding of how financial media works — and what it takes to secure meaningful coverage.

About the Role

You will report directly to DLPR’s EVP and Head of Broadcast, working closely with top financial and business news outlets, producers, anchors and podcast hosts.

This role is ideal for a former on-air journalist, television producer or experienced media relations professional who thrives in a fast-paced news environment, is motivated to secure high-profile broadcast opportunities and can prepare clients for media appearances.

What You’ll Be Doing

·      Pitch and secure broadcast opportunities for DLPR clients across top financial media outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business and leading investing and business podcasts.

·      Develop and maintain relationships with anchors, reporters, producers and podcast hosts across the financial media landscape.

·      Monitor breaking market news, economic data, earnings and macro trends to proactively identify timely media opportunities, conferences and segment ideas for clients.

·      Prepare executives, portfolio managers, and strategists for television and podcast appearances through messaging, positioning and coaching.

·      Represent broadcast on client account calls and internal strategy discussions, integrating media opportunities into broader communications campaigns.

·      Support DLPR’s broadcast team while expanding the firm’s reach across regional markets, affiliates, emerging platforms and market research.

What We’re Looking for

·      3 to 5 years of experience in broadcast journalism, television producing, booking, media relations or financial communications.

·      Strong contacts, news judgment and a deep understanding of financial and business media.

·      Excellent written, verbal and analytical communication skills.

·      Proven ability to proactively build and maintain media relationships in a fast-paced environment.

·      Must be a multitasker capable of managing multiple priorities, clients and deadlines.

·      A positive work ethic, attitude and good sense of humor. We work hard, move quickly and genuinely enjoy what we do.

Compensation: $85K - $105K
