We’re looking for a talented broadcast and/or media relations professional to lead our growing financial podcast practice. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a red-hot area at one of the industry’s largest and top-ranked financial PR agencies.

About the Role
You’ll report directly to our EVP and Head of Broadcast Services, working closely with top financial podcasts and major business news outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, and Yahoo! Finance.
This role is perfect for a former on-air journalist, TV producer, or seasoned media relations pro who’s ready to drive a new initiative and make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Pitch and place DLPR’s prestigious clients on top financial podcasts.
- Develop and manage relationships with podcast hosts and producers.
- Serve as DLPR’s in-house news editor: tracking major financial news events (Fed meetings, jobs reports, earnings, economic indicators, etc.) and keeping the team ahead of the curve.
- Prepare spokespeople for podcast appearances.
- Support DLPR’s three-person broadcast team, ensuring clients regularly appear on key outlets.
What We’re Looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in broadcast journalism, producing, or media relations.
- Strong news judgment and an understanding of financial/business media.
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
- A proven ability to build relationships with the media.
- A great attitude and a good sense of humor. We work hard, but we have fun doing it!
