What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Dufrene Building Materials?
We are currently seeking experienced lumber and material handler for our location in Thibodaux, La. An ideal candidate would have Building Materials and FORKLIFT experience (not a forklift-only position). Must be available to work Full-Time Schedule.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive and stock incoming materials
- Complete delivery work orders
- Handle customer material request
- Load and Unload materials on trucks
- Keep yard and warehouse clean and orderly
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Forklift Experience
- Detail-Oriented and thorough
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used daily
- Ability to interact with customer, coworkers and visitors at the store while remaining professional, polite and courteous
- Work as a Team
- Have good communication skills
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
