Hi, we are Duffy's Tavern, a local Irish/American restaurant and bar in historic Boalsburg. We would love for you to join our team!
We are seeking head chefs for immediate hire.
We are offering a VERY competitive salary based on experience.
Basic job responsibilities include:
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
Plan orders of ingredients according to identified shortages
Remedy any problems or defects in the kitchen
Be fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staff
Oversee the work of subordinates
Estimate staff’s workload and compensations
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-oworkers
