What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Teacher position at Ducklings Early Learning Center - Chestnut Run?
Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Preschool Assistant or Lead Teacher to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and participate in the smooth running of a loving Toddler classroom at a highly regarded educational child care center.
- Create and deliver lesson plans, care for each child individually, and assess developmental needs of students.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
- Communicate positively with parents, co-workers, and management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required. Credentials may vary for Assistant Teacher qualifications.
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center preferred.
- Experience using Teaching Strategies Gold and Brightwheel a plus.
- Able to furnish required clearances.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sense of humor encouraged.

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work 8:30am-5:30pm or 9am-6pm. Potential for part-time hours may be available. Pay varies based on experience and DEEDS qualifications.
