Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Service Advisor to serve as the main point of contact for our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping people, and a solid understanding of automotive services. This individual will be responsible for guiding customers through the repair process, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a seamless, positive experience from drop-off to pick-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests.
- Provide clear estimates for repair work and explain recommended services.
- Communicate effectively between customers and technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
- Maintain and update repair orders, invoices, and service records.
- Schedule appointments and manage shop workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Follow up with customers on service status, approvals, and post-service satisfaction.
- Assist with warranty claims and service promotions when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role (automotive experience strongly preferred).
- General knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with shop management software (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
