Soft Wash Technician

Job Overview
Duchesney Window Washing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Soft wash technician to join our team and grow with us. We're looking for (1) full time employee to begin training in April. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that exterior buildings are cleaned to the highest standards using the softwash method, contributing to the overall cleanliness and appearance of various residential and commercial properties. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while working at heights. During the off season beginning November 1, our company begins our focus on Holiday Lighting which is a mandatory transition for this position. This includes full training as well.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough exterior cleaning of residential and commercial buildings using the "soft washing" method.
• Perform thorough exterior cleaning of decks and concrete using surface cleaners and very powerful pressure washers.
• Utilize ladders safely and comfortably to access tough cleaning spots*****
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks while working at heights.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and any special requests.
• Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of waste materials properly after each job.
• Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and effectively.
• Must be willing to learn how to repair and fix equipment on the go.
• Must be ready to work in cold weather.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable on and moving large ladders********
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals.
• Previous experience in exterior cleaning preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safe operation practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team*****
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, climbing, and lifting for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• MUST have a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to accommodate early start times.

Holiday Lighting

• We professionally install/store and takedown holiday lighting during the winter months on residential and commercial properties.
• This will include full training with professional installers and installs begin late October into late December.
• Takedowns start the second week of January and keep us busy for a few weeks in Jan/Feb.
• We will teach you everything you need to know but this is a required part of the position.

We provide each crew with the best in exterior cleaning technology with newly upgraded equipment/pumps to achieve the highest quality in a timely manner. We provide you with protective equipment but you must be comfortable working with Sodium Hypochlorite (liquid bleach).

We're looking for someone with a good work ethic and great communication with both the our office and customers. We operate in mostly crews of two with one "crew leader." During the busy months, May-August, we offer overtime on Saturdays as needed. We're currently hiring one full time position to join our team in the Spring.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
