Soft Wash Tech/Window cleaner

Job Overview
Duchesney Window Washing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Soft wash technician/window cleaner to join our team and grow with us. We have expanded our business to the South Shore! We're looking for 1 employee to begin training ASAP. The job would begin as a summer job with the intentions of becoming full time as the work comes in. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that exterior buildings are cleaned to the highest standards using the softwash method, contributing to the overall cleanliness and appearance of various residential and commercial properties. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while working at heights. We are now servicing the South Shore in Massachusetts and need a versatile employee to be able to clean windows as well as houses. This job requires you to be able to potentially install holiday lighting in the winter months as well.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough exterior cleaning of residential and commercial buildings using the "soft washing" method.
• Perform thorough exterior cleaning of decks and concrete using surface cleaners and very powerful pressure washers.
• Perform thorough cleaning of windows on residential and commercial buildings using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Utilize ladders safely and comfortably to access tough cleaning spots*****
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks while working at heights.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and any special requests.
• Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of waste materials properly after each job.
• Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and effectively.
• Must be willing to learn how to repair and fix equipment on the go.
• Must be ready to work in cold weather.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable on and moving large ladders********
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals.
• Previous experience in exterior cleaning preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safe operation practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team*****
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, climbing, and lifting for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• MUST have a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to accommodate early start times.

Holiday Light Installation

• We professionally install, store and takedown holiday lighting during the winter months at residential and commercial properties.
• This includes PAID training with our professional installers that will begin late Oct/early November.
• We install up to as late as Christmas and takedowns begin the second week of January.
• We will teach you everything you need to know but this is a part of the position.

We provide each crew with the best in exterior cleaning technology with newly upgraded equipment/pumps to achieve the highest quality in a timely manner. We provide you with protective equipment but you must be comfortable working with Sodium Hypochlorite (liquid bleach).

We're looking for someone with a good work ethic and great communication with both the our office and customers. We operate in mostly crews of two with one "crew leader." During the busy months, May-August, we offer overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
