Position Summary
As a member of the Dubuque Fighting Saints Promotions Crew, you have a wide range
of responsibilities. From assisting on-ice mini-games on gameday to attending
community events. This position is great for somebody with a passion for working in a
fun, fast-paced environment and just starting their sports industry career.
Job Description:
Assist with set up and tear down of the arena
Assist with the execution of partnership activations
Interaction with fans that enhances their experience at the game
Adjust to changes in-game plans on the fly
Attend a number of different events throughout the community, advocating for the
Fighting Saints
Build the Fighting Saints brand by assisting with giveaways and promotions at
non-game events
At events, set up and operate and tear down informational booths, mini-games,
and all other event equipment
This role can be considered an internship for college credit.
Requirements:
Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, live-game environment and walking on
an ice sheet.
Reliable transportation anywhere in the Dubuque Metro area
Some knowledge of hockey, the Fighting Saints, and/or sports promotions or
marketing
Energetic, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends
and holidays, as required by the hockey and event schedule.
