What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate- Richmond, Virginia position at Dubak Electrical?
Dubak Electrical Group is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team due to our growth and expansion at our Richmond, Virginia location. For the Warehouse Associate position the primary responsibilities will be in a warehouse environment.
The primary job duties include but are not limited to, knowledge in warehouse activities and experience in the following areas:
- Knowledge of electrical parts, hardware and components
- Stocking parts accurately and efficiently
- Understanding and familiarity with a wide range of tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Work well with other co-workers by being a team player
- Must be timely and work with a sense of urgency
- Organization of equipment and materials
- General cleaning/maintenance of warehouse and shop areas
- Forklift safety awareness (actual forklift training preferred, but not required)
- General safety training in a warehouse environment
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Communication and coordination with external vendors and shipping providers
- Assist with snow removal during the winter months as needed
- Job duties will be approximately 90% warehouse and 10% driving responsibilities
- Clean driving record with valid Driver's License
Expectations:
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed and perform tasks such as: lifting (max 50lbs), climbing ladders, crouching, bending, and working at heights (no more than 30').

Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience is required
- Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
- Ability to speak, write, and read in the English language
Education:
- High school or equivalent
