What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non CDL Hook Truck Driver position at DTG Enterprises Inc?
Title: Non-CDL Hook Truck Driver
Reports to: Driver Lead
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Driving a small non-CDL hook truck on predetermined route and schedule.
- Must be able to operate trucks in residential, commercial, DTG recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways including highways and interstates.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Communicate with dispatcher throughout the day.
- Document deliveries and log shipment information.
- Able to work some Saturdays.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Current Medical Card.
- Clean driving record and background.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Physical Requirements:
- Cleaning potential road hazards (e.g. debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing, etc.) off of can slides, rails and doors as well as track bumpers, truck fenders, truck wheels and truck frame rails.
- Cleaning of potential road hazards on trucks will need to be cleaned off prior to leaving job site or yard.
- Working outside under all types of weather conditions.
