Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Dog Groomer to join our team! The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and genuinely loves animals. You should feel confident grooming a wide variety of breeds and coat types, from start to finish, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-service grooming (bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the grooming area
- Communicate professionally with pet parents about their pet’s groom, temperament, and any health concerns
- Use gentle handling techniques and prioritize the well-being of each pet
- Keep accurate grooming notes and follow salon procedures
- Help with laundry, cleaning, and team duties as needed
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of grooming experience preferred (will consider recent grooming school graduates)
- Ability to groom dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Cat grooming is a plus, LET US KNOW!
- Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming techniques
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Punctual, dependable, and a true team player
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
