Physical Therapy Assistant – Santa Fe Indian Health Center

Location: Santa Fe, NM (with travel to Cochiti, San Felipe, and Santa Clara clinics as needed)

Contract Term: One year with four one-year options

Proposal Due Date: November 21

Overview

Support Physical Therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center. Work focuses on outpatient orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

• Administer PT treatments and exercises as directed by the supervising PT.
• Record patient responses and progress.
• Train patients in mobility and daily living activities.
• Maintain treatment area and equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PTA license in any U.S. state or territory.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and PT techniques.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
  
  

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. No overtime authorized.
