As an Embedded Software Developer in Automated Driving, you'll assist in developing simulation and validation solutions for the intelligent systems that power autonomous vehicles. dSPACE works with leading automotive manufacturers and their suppliers to deliver test systems. You will have the opportunity to engage with customers, understand their technical requirements, and contribute to the evolution of dSPACE’s sensor interface solutions.

In this role, you will create high-performance, real-time software solutions that enable the accurate emulation and integration of sensor data into hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments. These solutions are critical for the development and validation of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) technologies.

You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary and intercultural teams, including hardware developers, systems engineers, and application specialists, to deliver robust and scalable software. Responsibilities

· Development of software components for testing of autonomous driving functions, especially for embedded platforms

· Organization and implementation of projects/sub-projects in the field of highly automated driving

· Cooperation with our development department as well as the specialist departments of our national and international customers

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related experience

· Good knowledge of the development and programming of embedded systems (C/C , Python, Linux)

· Strong analytical thinking and a proven ability to navigate and resolve complex interdependencies within embedded systems

· A high degree of teamwork and systematic way of working

· Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and a high degree of independence

Desired Qualifications

· Knowledge of driver assistance systems and their sensors (cameras, radar, lidar, etc.)

· Knowledge of FPGA programming (VHDL, Verilog, etc.) and development

· Knowledge of LVDS-based camera interfaces (FPD-Link, GMSL, CSI-2, etc.)
