Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear information and directing calls appropriately.
- Maintain organized medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management.
- Assist with appointment reminders, follow-up scheduling, and patient intake procedures.
- Support office management tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies.
- Ensure adherence to all clinic policies related to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and medical office procedures.
Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and health information management software.
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
