Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. As a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate, you will assist in executing dealership buy-sell transactions by conducting financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence activities. You will develop client presentations, support negotiations, gather and analyze financial data, and provide advisory recommendations. Close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and your team will be key to drive successful transactions while maintaining DSMA’s high standard of client service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and enable strategic decision-making
- Finance expertise, including a solid understanding of valuation techniques and financial principles
- Proficiency in conducting due diligence and assessing transaction-related risks
- Experience with financial modeling and creating accurate and detailed representations of financials
- Knowledge of private equity transactions or related experience in investment banking is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to convey insights effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
