This position required 25% Traveling and this is a backfill position and We are Looking for Product Procurement Engineer Role with Supply Chain Management , Supplier Quality during NPI , CPI and NSI . Experienced who is able to do Supplier Interaction, Cost Reduction and Quality as well. This position will do cross function collaboration between different team’s also .

Typical task breakdown:
- Implementing product supply strategies aligned with the category management supply strategies that will create a competitive advantage for our customers by developing, optimizing, and integrating a world-class supply network.
- Escalate supplier quality defects to SDEs for an immediate containment
- Managing the quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learned on quality defects are applied across the supply base.
- Managing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Cost management related activities from concept to PPAP to deliver parts at the right quality, total cost, and meet timelines. They accomplish this through collaboration with various functional areas like packaging, transportation, business resources, supply chain, etc,.
Extensive use of Teamcenter and Workflow process to collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Development engineer and identify the supplier source fo - each Buy level parts.
- Driving Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) through cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and leveraging suppliers’ capabilities.
- Support and Present Source change request to meet Quality, Cost and Velocity goal to all stake holders in the Source council meeting.
Interaction with team:
- Frequent interaction with Buyer, Supplier Development Engineer, Engineering team, Quality Team, Engineering Value Chain team.

Office Setting/Production Manufacturing Environment
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 3 or more years
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's in Engineering degree preferred, Mechanical, Industrial, and Supply Chain Engineer degrees will be accepted.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and computer-generated reports
- 3D modeling or Creo experience

- Engineering and Sourcing Experience in Electrical harness, Nonmetallic and fabrication will be beneficial.
