Overview:
Responsible for electrical subsystems for our solutions organization. Our large data center customers, we provide a full package solution in an enclosure. They have specific requests and requirements that we have to design to meet their specs and so my team is responsible for all the electrical subsystems within that enclosure
AutoCAD drawing creation and updates. Creo Modeling based on that schematic layout, how to get circuits from one location to another. Identifying and releasing components when needed like battery chargers or HRD systems or connectors things of that nature

Education and Experience:
Bachelors with 8 years of experience
Masters with 6 years of experience
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Supporting engineering project leads and electrical team leads to develop subsystem designs and component designs to meet customer requirements.
Typical task breakdown:
- Creo designing, detailing, and releasing of full standby power solutions thru all aspects of the project (concept, detailed design, release, purchasing support, build support, commissioning support)
Interaction with team:
- Daily interaction with local team members and international team members
Team Structure
- Electrical leads support design engineers with requirements and timelines. Leads report back on project status weekly
- 7 are on the team, 4 local, 3 in different locations
Work environment:
- In office with dedicated desk surrounded by local team members from the electrical subsystem team, mechanical subsystem team, and project level engineering teams
It is office based but may require going to the shop floor to investigate. Steeltoe shoes and other PPE would be required
