The Senior Manager of Digital Merchandising oversees the day‑to‑day operations and performance of a large eCommerce site. This role is responsible for creating a seamless and compelling online shopping experience by strategically merchandising products, optimizing discoverability, and using data to guide decision‑making. This leader will also manage the promotional calendar, drive content needs for the site and email, oversee product activation, and guide the digital merchandising team.
This is a hands‑on, highly operational role that requires exceptional attention to detail and plays a critical part in generating daily revenue within a fast‑paced, promotion‑driven apparel business.
Site & Merchandising Execution
- Manage daily updates including messaging changes, visual asset swaps, and content refreshes.
- Oversee onsite merchandising across the homepage, category pages, product pages, navigation, and curated collections.
- Translate inventory priorities and business objectives into clear onsite stories and product focuses.
- Own product ranking, sorting, badging, and collection building to improve conversion and sell‑through.
- Ensure new arrivals, key trends, and priority categories are consistently highlighted and easy to shop.
- Manage product categorization, tagging, and product information to improve searchability and discoverability.
- Lead the planning and execution of the promotional calendar in alignment with business goals.
- Develop product‑driven email merchandising strategies and partner closely with CRM and creative teams on execution.
- Collaborate with marketing, CRM, and creative teams to ensure alignment across onsite content and broader campaigns.
- Communicate promotions and site updates to the affiliate marketing team.
- Plan and execute A/B tests and other experiments to improve conversion.
- Generate reporting and insights to inform merchandising decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor daily digital performance, with an emphasis on the impact of promotions and merchandising choices.
- Lead and support the digital merchandising team, including merchandising assistants and copywriting support.
- Ensure timely product activation and accuracy across images, descriptions, categorization, and promotional execution.

- Strong background in managing promotions within a highly promotional retail environment.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑moving, deadline‑driven workplace with shifting priorities.
- Experience owning promotional calendars and onsite campaign execution.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners.
- Hands‑on site management experience with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail with excellent quality assurance discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, eCommerce, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising and site management (apparel experience preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with common eCommerce tools and CMS platforms (experience with Shopify and Google Analytics is a plus).
- Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to turn data into actionable strategies.
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
